BYO everything and come and enjoy a catch up. This would suit all ages. There's a bike track and flying fox for older kids and a lower playground and grassy area for little ones. We'll pop a big rug out in the shade for mums with little bubs too.    This playground is fenced and has toilets. Expectant parents are always welcome at our events, it's great fun to meet  parents of multiples and ask questions. An hour of fun awaits! Climbing, rolling, jumping, swinging, what a ball we'll have.    YMCA Caloundra offers a Gym Bubs session for under 3s and we're part of it!    BYO everything. There's no eating allowed on the equipment but there's seating available close by. 

Mother's Day Family Afternoon Bring a picnic and your gorgeous family for an afternoon of fun to celebrate Mother's Day! We'll set up on the grass and have some low and safe play things ready for the smallest people. Our bigger ones can enjoy the playground equipment. Hopefully this will give our lovely mums a chance to chat and enjoy the afternoon out.  Our volunteer elves are working on a special little gift for the mums. We'd love to see you there! (Please get a free ticket for your family so that we can have a good idea of numbers.)

Mainly Music is a great program of songs and play time for pre-school-aged children and their adults. Have fun with the kids, then enjoy morning tea and a time to chat for the adults while the children have free play time. We often dance with scarves, play on the beat with instruments, follow bubbles and more! (Just a friendly heads up, this is based at a church and there are Christian themes in some of the songs.)   Some morning tea will be provided for children and adults but you are welcome to bring your own too.    You just need one ticket per family. :-)

Bring your little ones to the crèche room at Meridan Community Centre at 9am. We'll have toys to play with in a beautifully enclosed, carpeted and air conditioned room.  We'll be welcoming expectant parents too to meet us and ask any burning questions.  We'll wrap up with some singing and dancing. It should be fun! This ideally suited for 0-4 but there is a larger playground in the centre near the cafe if one parent wants to take older siblings there.    Please bring morning tea for your little ones. Feel free to stop at the café for a coffee on the way in!

These sessions promote sensory explorations, foster imagination, enhance colour recognition, encourage experiments and create a positive attitude towards new experiences. Most importantly, babies and children get to explore in conjunction with our educational Maggie Moo Music which further enhances their learning experience!! This event sold out last time as is coming back even bigger and better! More sensory stations, more space, more fun! And we are outdoors at the amazing Mummy's Cafe at the display village in Aura, umm hello Coffee, food and entertainment for kids!!! (Dont Worry, we will have shade tents up to protect from the sun) What can you expect? If you came in November, expect that, but bigger and better. If you haven't been than here's just a few things to look forward too! Official notice of our 2023 Annual General Meeting. Positions vacant:  President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer. Communications officer, membership coordinator, expectant parents info coordinator, playgroup coordinator, events coordinator, grants officer, equipment hire coordinator, fundraising coordinator, hospital liaison, bereavement and PND coordinator, discounts and offers coordinator, and one-off roles, such as organiser for bake sale and clothes swap. If we could fill even two of the executive role, and have four people accept a supporting committee position, this club could rise to new heights.  Sadly, we've been limping along with only a tiny committee of time-poor multi mums. It is with great sadness to all involved that if these positions are not filled at AGM, either by attendance or proxy by emailing us the club would have to fold. Some of the perks of SCMBA include going out for a long lunch with drinks and great company.   We urge you to join us and enjoy the benefits of being a volunteer.  This club is for you, but it needs you.
