Welcome to February Playgroup! This month, let's escape the heat and let our babes get some music and movement happening in a closed-in, cool, safe environment! We have the Lovley Laura from MaggieMooMusic coming to run a session! What is Maggie Moo Music?  Offering fun and interactive MOOsical sessions for babies, toddlers & pre-schoolers. Music is an essential part of every child's development and the 130+ original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your baby or child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way. Come and join for this wonderful morning for a little ones 0-5 years! We are running two sessions with a limit of 10 families per session so grab your tickets quick! if they are all gone please hop on the wait list and we will notify you if a ticket becomes available. Don't have your little one that day? Send whoever they are with! ( grandparents, mums, dads, aunts, friends) all are welcome! This Event is majority covered by the club and only requires a small member fee. Please only Select one ticket per set of twins. Please note that tickets are non-refundable, however should we be able to replace it for someone on the waiting list we will be happy to fully refund. Happy Holidays Multiple Families !🎄🧑‍🎄🎅 We have another very special playgroup booked in for December ! The wonderful Tash Starting Steps Baby Development-is running one of her very fun sessions from her term at Baringa Community Centre. We will run a 9:15am and a 10:15am session ( 45min session), so make sure that you're on time so you don't miss out! There is a 15min turn around between classes so if you are early please wait outside the room until the first group finishes up. ****FOR STARTING STEPS PLEASE SELECT ONE TICKET ( PER SET OF TWINS) ATTENDING ONLY**** These sessions are suitable for ages 0-15 MONTHS ONLY ( if bubs turn 16 months in December they are to old for this session ), however we will have a multi meet up at mummy's cafe on the same day for anyone over these ages 😁 This is a free event for our members only and tickets are limited to 8 sets of twins (16 bubs) per session so get in quick! You are welcome to have two parents/grandparents/adults attend. There are individual soft mats provided but bring a blanket to lay down on the mats if you like!  Please join our waitlist if tickets are sold out and of course if you can not make it ,please let us know so we can offer your spot to another member. A bit of info on the program and what to expect: The aim of the program is to support your little ones in reaching their key developmental milestones, in a fun and nurturing way, whilst not rushing the process. It's going to be big! Come celebrate SCMBA's 40th Anniversary This event is our final and our most fantastic for the year - there will be something for everyone!   Parents can enjoy 2 hours of social time while the children are totally entertained by the team from HYPT in Maroochydore.  It's an indoor party centre, with games, dancing, facepainting and more - all organised by the party people.  Mums and Dads can enjoy the coffee and snacks and will be in the running for lucky door prizes.  There will be a safe zone for bubs and soft play for the toddlers, plus a room for the school age children. Please select a free ticket for each member of family, so we know how to cater it. Welcome to our final school-aged multiples event for 2022. This is an invitation to any of our members who have children at school (prep to year 12) to attend this event and we also welcome the siblings of school-aged multiples - the whole family is invited.  Arrive between 9am and 9.30am to be ready for our private booking of the new water slides at the Nambour Aquatic Centre. The Sunshine Coast Multiple Birth Association will have sole use of these new water slides between 9.30am and 10.30am. At 10.30am the public will be able to join us on these slides. Families will be able to stay at the pool as long as they want for the remainder of the day.  Ticket options: Adult tickets - any adults accompanying children on the day. Child tickets - any age child no matter what equipment they will use on the day. Restrictions: New big slides - children must be 6 years old and over and 1.2m high or taller. 50m pool and Splash Park - any aged child may use these but must be full supervised by an adult.

All expectant parents are invited to join our information session in Maroochydore. It's a casual affair, with some light refreshments, giving members a chance to meet other multi families and ask all the questions! The Sunshine Coast Multiple Birth Association will also offer goodie bags, free tiny baby clothing and info about our discounted hire equipment. We look forward to meeting you!

We have a really exciting playgroup planned with special guest Tash from @naturesensoryplay  This is a special event giving all of our multiple families first look at her new private event hire and set up It is great for ages 0-4 and even has a special baby corner for those bubs not sitting or on the move yet. This is a closed in-room event, so all of our little ones will be safe to roam around and won't escape!  SCMBA is co-funding this members-only event. All tickets will be non refundable once purchased*. There are limited tickets available so get in quick! Should tickets be sold out in the number of children you require please select the next closest option and email the club and we will adjust accordingly. Something different for the special dudes in our lives! SCMBA is running its most daring Dad's Day event yet. Throw a sharp object at a wall, sounds like fun, huh? The club is co-funding this event, so it's a half price special. Only $25 a ticket for two hours of fun. We'll throw in a beer at the local brewery afterwards too.

Please join us at this great family friendly spot for our September Playgroup!    We have exclusive access to Our Sensory Space in Moffat Beach for the allocated time slot.    If you haven't been before, this venue has something for all kids 0-5years. There is a cool light sensory room, soft play hire, actives room, dress up and so much more.    There is coffee available on site ( it's no barista coffee though) so if you need that morning hit but are running late to grab a coffee, there is that option as well. This is an exclusive members only event so make sure your memberships are up to date.    Looking forward to seeing you all there! 

Updated information:  Please arrive 10 mins early to start on time. You don’t need to bring anything else but don’t wear anything precious. Aprons are supplied. Come and join your fellow multiple mums for an afternoon of relaxation. A paint and sip at a local artists studios. The painting we will have the opportunity to create has yet to be decided. This event has been generously funded due to a grant that SCMBA has received (thanks to our hard-working Grants Coordinator) and a drink and nibblies will also be provided onsite.  There is a maximum of 14 tickets so get it quickly so you don't miss out.
